National Stress Awareness Week starts 1 to 5 November 2021.

Stress can be a real enemy, both in the workplace and in the busy day-to-day life of each person. Did you know 74% of UK adults feel overwhelmed or unable to cope with the amount of stress in their lives?

Some common suggestions to help reduce stress and look after yourself:

  • Sharing your feelings with family and friends
  • Keeping active & eating well
  • Learning to relax & doing something you enjoy
  • Asking for help
  • Take part in a mindfulness session - join our weekly group for free!
  • Speaking to your line manager to get support, particularly if your stress is work-related. Find help on our Keeping Well Academy

Stress, depression or anxiety is more prevalent in public service industries, including health and social care.

Our Keeping Well Hub offers a self-help resource page with guides and advice to help lower your stress, recognise the signs of stress at the workplace and or at home including apps, articles, podcasts and worksheets.
