“The Huddle” is a new Keeping Well initiative facilitated by You Okay, Doc? (YOD), a mental health charity for doctors founded by doctors.
The Huddle programme provides an additional space for all North West London GPs, hospital doctors and speciality doctors/consultants to share their stories, have conversations, and learn from each other on how to positively manage their mental health and wellbeing in order to get the best out of themselves.
As the sessions come to a close join the next two with a focus on:
-
Burnout in GPs – Monday 28 February 8pm to 9pm
-
Managing conflict at work – Monday 7 March 8pm to 9pm

Chris, a psychotherapist who has facilitated 'The Huddles' for two years describes what you can expect when you join a session, how it can help you and the positive impact it can have in your job role.
"Everybody is welcome to join, sessions are held on Zoom, for an hour each week, you don't have to contribute if you don't want to, you don't have to say anything, you can just be present, listen, gain support just by hearing other people's stories. There's stories about the environment, situations about the pandemic. Part of The Huddle is about contributing and helping in getting to know oneself more."
