Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting, prayer, reflection and community.
This year Ramadan begins on Monday 12 April 2021 in the United Kingdom.
Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL) has published a leaflet on Ramadan and your health.
You can download the leaflet here, it is also available in other languages.
It has information on things like fasting during the pandemic, getting the covid-19 vaccine, and answers questions like whether the vaccines are halal.
The NHS Muslim Network is also hosting webinar tomorrow (9 April) to welcome the new month and learn what Ramadan means to NHS Muslim staff.
Prerana Issar, Chief People Officer will lead the discussion from 11.30am to 12.30pm, click here for information to join.
