Prior to joining us, Ciara spent five years working in the NHS Primary Care Mental Health Service (IAPT) using Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) at both Low-Intensity and High-Intensity levels.
Her previous therapeutic employments have ranged across various settings in Ireland, Spain and the UK. These have included working with children with Autism and Learning Disabilities in the Irish education system, utilising creative methods as psycho-rehabilitative tools for adults attending a non-profit mental health organisation, and providing cognitive assessments and neuro-rehabilitative strategies to individuals recovering from Acquired Brain Injury.
Ciara strongly values a collaborative approach in her therapy practice, ensuring that she and her clients work together as a team to improve her clients’ mental wellbeing.
