To mark the #OneYearOn campaign celebrating the first anniversary of the Covid-19 vaccination being delivered in England (read more) we have produced a Q&A video around needle phobia.
In this video, Ciara, our Cognitive Behavioural Therapist talks about the effects of needle and general phobia, how CBT can help, useful coping techniques and where health and social care staff can find support by talking with our wellbeing professionals.
Did you know 1 in 10 people suffer from a needle phobia? We have a dedicated self-help resource page with advice and guides to help.
For staff working in the NHS
Health and social care providers in England will be required to ensure workers are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless they are exempt, under plans announced by the Health and Social Care Secretary. Staff members will need to have a first jab by 3 February 2022 and then have six weeks to get second jab.
This regulation is already in place for staff working in the care home sector, read about this and watch our video on care home vaccination Q&A.
